New loan applications are for first time borrowers. If you have previously borrowed from the Foundation,
please complete a renewal application.

Checklist of requirements:

• Completed application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. All questions must be answered.
• Two letters of recommendation from people who know you well. One must be from an educator.
• Copy of your current year's SAR print summary from your Free Application for Federal Student Aid,
  showing your EFC
• High school final transcript. Note: The Hoover High School Guidance Office will automatically
  provide a transcript for Hoover senior applicants. Past Hoover graduates and seniors from other high
  schools must request their transcripts.
• Official college transcript if you are already attending college
• All materials must be mailed in one envelope and must be postmarked by June 1st
  of the year you want the loan.
• You and your parents/guardian must attend a mandatory interview that will take place on the fourth
  Wednesday of June beginning at 6:30 PM.
• Be sure to keep the Information Sheet that is part of the application package for future reference.
